Jamie Dimon Still Isn't a Fan of Bitcoin, But Regrets Calling it a 'Fraud'

It's well established by now that when Jamie Dimon speaks people are going to listen, whether he's talking about the markets, the economy, politics or education.
So when the JPMorgan Chase chief executive decided to pour a large bucket of water on the cryprocurrency craze in September by calling bitcoin a "fraud" - and then doubled down on his remarks by saying it is "worth nothing" - it pretty much got everyone talking. However, while Dimon remains steadfastly against the world's most popular cryptocurrency, he tells Fox Business in a new interview that he regrets actually calling bitcoina a fraud.
“The blockchain is real. You can have crypto yen and dollars and stuff like that. ICO's you have to look at individually”, Dimon said in an exclusive interview with FOX Business’ Maria Bartiromo. “The bitcoin to me was always what the governments are gonna feel about bitcoin as it gets really big, and I just have a different opinion than other people. I'm not interested that much in the subject at all.”
This is a much more diplomatic take on the crypto market from Dimon than when he spoke at the Institute of International Finance. in October.
"If you're stupid enough to buy it, you will pay the price for it one day," he said at the time.
We now patiently wait to hear if Ray Dalio regrets calling bitcoin a "bubble."
